ABOUT PUBLIC HEALTH ADVOCACY NEPAL

Prevention. Promotion. with Innovation

Public Health Advocacy Nepal (PHAN) is a youth-led health advocacy campaign for preventive medicine, founded in 2017 in Nepal. It is a community-based, bottom-up approach program primarily established with the aim of promoting public health through innovation and entrepreneurship. It also provides the advocacy platform for meaningful youth engagement in health promotion and disease prevention as well as the socio-economic development sector at the grassroots levels. It mainly focuses on highly vulnerable rural communities and helps to bring them into the mainstream of national development. Currently, we are working on Maternal and Child Health, Child Nutrition, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Environmental Health, and women's Health Literacy for Gender Equality, as well as Disaster Management, Humanitarian Crisis, and Volunteering services to bring positive changes in the community. Currently, we are expanding our sister organizations globally (PUBLIC HEALTH ADVOCACY GLOBAL) after the COVID-19 pandemic.
