LEARN MORE ABOUT PUBLIC HEALTH ADVOCACY GLOBAL
Prevention, Promotion, With Research and Innovation
Public Health Advocacy Global (PHAG) is a youth-led global health movement advancing preventive medicine and equitable public health systems worldwide. Founded in 2017 in Nepal, PHAG emerged from a grassroots commitment to empower communities, strengthen health literacy, and mobilize young leaders to drive transformative change in public health.
We champion a bottom‑up approach that places communities, especially those most vulnerable, at the center of health promotion and social development. Through evidence‑based advocacy, volunteer engagement, and cross‑sector collaboration, PHAG works to elevate public health priorities at regional and global levels.
PHAG provides a dynamic platform for meaningful youth participation in health promotion, disease prevention, and socio‑economic development. Our work aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), contributing to global efforts to build healthier, more resilient, and more equitable societies.
Our thematic areas include Global Public Health, International Health, Environmental Health, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Nutritional Health, Gender Equality, Child Education, Humanitarian Response, and Disaster Management. Across these domains, we mobilize collective action to uplift public health status and ensure that marginalized communities are not left behind.
Today, PHAG stands as a growing global network of young advocates committed to shaping a future where every individual, regardless of geography or circumstance, can access dignified, quality, and resilient healthcare.
