Krishna Sharma

Krishna Sharma is a Nepalese public health leader whose journey from the remote hills of Dailekh to global public health platforms reflects a lifelong commitment to health equity and community empowerment. As the founder and executive director of Public Health Advocacy Nepal (PHAN), which later expanded globally as Public Health Advocacy Global, he established a youth‑driven movement dedicated to improving health literacy, strengthening local health systems, and advancing evidence‑based advocacy across Nepal and beyond.
 

Shaped by years of frontline work in rural districts and now contributing as a global health expert, he completed an MSc in Global Public Health at the University of Greenwich, London, as a Chevening Scholar. Krishna’s vision is bold and clear: to build a future where every mother, child, and community, regardless of geography, can access quality, dignified, and resilient healthcare. His professional journey bridges grassroots realities with global public health thinking, positioning him as an emerging voice for equitable health systems in Nepal and across the wider Global South.
